On Sunday, a meeting was held with the workers' municipality's board in Kalmar where they discussed what happened after the annual meeting and the open criticism that Annika Brodin and Anna Lööf Hedh directed both at how elected representatives were treated in the nomination process, and at what they consider a quiet and top-run municipal association.

According to Roger Holmberg, he has never before received signals that members had this view, or that Annika Brodin felt opposed when she questioned the party line or had dissenting opinions.

- On the other hand, I can not say that any of them are wrong, but I do not recognize it and have not received it from anyone else either, he says.

More critical

When SVT calls around to several active Social Democratic women in Kalmar, however, it appears that more than Anna Lööf Hedh and Annika Brodin are critical of how the workers' municipality is governed.

- It is a small circuit that controls with an iron hand.

As long as you are silent, it works, but if you are a strong woman who refuses to join any man's ligament, then you will be punished for it, says a woman who wants to remain anonymous.

What the people have in common is that they stand outside the party association's center of power.

Others, who have more significant positions in the party, do not see that there is a culture of silence and are shocked by the outcome.

Johan Persson: "Sweeping criticism"

Those who have been singled out as a leader in S Kalmar are the chairman of the municipal board Johan Persson, the chairman of the social committee and also chairman of the workers' municipality Roger Holmberg, the S ombudsman Linus Hellman, the chairman of the community building Peter Akinder and now the regional councilor Mattias Adolfsson.

All politicians have been given a secure top spot on the lists nailed this weekend.

SVT has asked Johan Persson for a comment several times on Monday, but has received the answer that he does not have time for an interview.

In a text message, however, he writes that the criticism that has been made has been "general and sweeping".

Holmberg: It is important to be sensitive

Is there anything in the criticism that you take to heart?

- We work with this all the time.

If you are in power for a long time, it is important to be sensitive.

We have learned that power corrupts, that it is important to have your eyes and ears out and be part of changes and bring in new ideas and thoughts, says Roger Holmberg.

And here comes the criticism that this is exactly what you do not do.

Is there then no reason to change anything?

- No, or I do not know.

But again, these would mean that you have to spend for these processes.

We have really tried to have as high a ceiling as possible for everyone to be involved.
