The students have already sent the first delivery to Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities that are under attack by Russian forces.

The campaign managed to collect SEK 300,000 in the first week.

The students have, among other things, bought camouflage clothes, generators and thermal cameras.

- I called my family and they said they could not leave Ukraine so it made me think "okay, how can I help them".

I called my uncle and he said what is needed for the civil defense through the lists published by the city administrations, says Olga Zaporozhets.

New collection underway

Olga says that the donations continue to come, including via Swish.

Students are now preparing to send the second tranche of aid to Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities this week.

- I wrote to all my teachers that I can not study because I work around the clock with this.

My teachers are very understanding, but sometimes I have to go back to my studies, says Olga.
