The public prosecutor of Amiens (Somme) recently indicated that a 21-year-old suspect was arrested and then indicted on March 10.

The young man is suspected of having been part of the group of individuals behind the gunshots that sounded on February 24 in front of the César Franck college in the city.

He was remanded in custody, reports France Bleu Picardie.

The charge relates to attempted homicide.

An investigation was carried out after the shots were fired near the school.

A bullet had passed through a classroom and lessons had been interrupted.

No physical injuries

There were no injuries to anyone present at the scene.

The shots had however shocked enough to require the establishment of a psychological support system.

The latter had been offered to college students, but also to the staff of the establishment.
