Criticism is growing among the staff at Sunderby Hospital because it is so difficult to commute by train to the workplace.

Canceled trains, poor punctuality and a timetable that does not work have created strong reactions.

Think it's for the forest

Assistant nurse Katarina Forsberg from Boden is tired of the train noise now.

- There are hardly any trains.

If it is not a shortage of staff, technical errors, it is something else.

I can take the bus instead of the so-called train shuttle.

I think it's for the forest, to put it mildly, she says.

"I feel cheated"

Her colleague, the operating room nurse Monika Wanzelius, from Boden, has also been forced to get on the bus so as not to be late for work.

- If you are going to have a train shuttle, it must go and according to schedule.

It can not be the case that the trains are canceled six out of seven times.

To me, it feels like I paid for an item I did not get delivered.

I feel grounded, she says.
