On Sunday, a heat record was broken for March in Umeå. Not since the measurements started in 1858 has it been so hot in March. 14.5 degrees is the new record. Monday also offered scorching sun and positive temperatures. - Fantastic and really nice, says Sara Westman about the heat.
It has been really hot for the season the last few days, with a temperature record in Umeå, among other places.
With the heat comes the treacherous spring ice and in Lycksele the ice road across the river has now been closed due to the hot weather.
