Zelensky reportedly said, “I hope everyone hears me now, especially in Moscow. It’s time to restore Ukraine’s territorial integrity and justice. Otherwise, Russia’s loss will take generations. to recover.”
In his speech, he also urged Switzerland to do more against Russian oligarchs.
Although Switzerland is not a member of the European Union, it has fully accepted EU sanctions on Russian individuals and entities, including an order to freeze their wealth in Swiss banks, Reuters said.
Agence France-Presse reported that Swiss Confederation President Cassis said he hoped the gunfire would die down soon and said Switzerland was ready to play a mediating role or organize talks between Russia and Ukraine.
