The call was given around 5 p.m. Saturday.
At the end of the line, a teenager who explains that he killed his mother with several stab wounds after having made her fall down the stairs.
He also indicates that he has smoked about ten joints.
But when the police went to the suspect's home in Echirolles, in the suburbs of Grenoble, they understood that it was a bad hoax.
And that none of this had happened.
The teenager's parents were the first to be surprised.
Himself will have to explain himself on the facts.
"An investigation is underway," said the Grenoble prosecutor's office this Sunday, confirming information from France 3. It will have to determine whether it was a joke made by the 15-year-old boy or whether it was of a "swatting" phenomenon.
A trap set for the teenager?
This malicious practice consists in forcing the police to intervene in an emergency following an anonymous call.
