On March 18, the 11th "Kaohsiung·Beijing Characteristic Week" event opened. More than 600 Taiwanese people and more than 200 Beijing community residents communicated and enjoyed the performance online.

  During the event, people on both sides of the strait brought performances of folk art, singing and dancing, and fashion shows.

At the Beijing venue, Xu Yang, the inheritor of Beijing's intangible paper-cutting, demonstrated cutting a flower with the word "spring".

Peng Xiaoping, the inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage of the miniature walnut noodles, made a dough sculpture of the mascot "Bingdundun" of the Beijing Winter Olympics together with Taiwan compatriots through a video connection.
