In 2018 and 2019, a new audience record was broken in the women's final and when the audience returns on Saturday after two years of corona restrictions, the Swedish bandy association hopes for a new audience record.

- Everything that was in the air until the weekend makes it feel like we have great opportunities to beat the audience record for the women's final.

For the men's final, the goal is always a patch on the door, so we hope and believe in it, says Pär Gustafsson, general secretary of the Swedish Bandy Association.

"The goal is a safe and secure implementation"

Ahead of Saturday's bandy finals, the police have produced a picture of the situation, analyzed different scenarios and will have a special command with resources that work with the matches.

- Finally after a two-year break, we can have such a wonderful event again together.

It is clear that it requires some planning on the part of the police where the goal is for it to be a safe and secure implementation, says Jonas Eronen, press spokesperson at Uppsala Police.
