According to a survey carried out on the occasion of Saint Patrick's Day, Jean Lassalle tops the list of candidates with whom the French would like to have a beer.

39% of those polled nominated the candidate for "Let's resist!"

Emmanuel Macron comes in second place, 37% of French people are ready to share a drink with him.

Who would you like to have a beer with?

This is the question posed by the communication agency CorioLink, in partnership with Ifop, to more than 1,000 French people, during a survey published this Thursday, for Saint Patrick's Day.

Well down in the polls for the presidential election, Jean Lassalle won that of the best company for a drink.

39% of French people elected him.

In second position, we find the outgoing president, Emmanuel Macron, credited with 37% in the poll.

Marine Le Pen arrives on the last step of the podium with 31% of French people leaving to drink a beer with her.

The poll differs greatly from those of voting intentions for the presidential election.

Indeed, Philippe Poutou is closely following the candidate of the National Rally (25%).

Jean-Luc Mélenchon and Fabien Roussel are just behind with 24% each.

The final trio is made up of Nicolas Dupont-Aignan (19%), Nathalie Arthaud (17%) and Anne Hidalgo (14%).

aims to determine the level of sympathy that the candidates inspire in the French.
