Monday, in a pavilion in Candé (Maine-et-Loire), a 22-year-old young man accidentally shot his friend, with a weapon he did not think was loaded.

According to

, the boy had bought two revolvers a few weeks ago on the Internet, and had started to hit one of them.

The bullet then hit the shoulder of his 21-year-old boyfriend, who was in the room.

The latter was transported to the University Hospital of Angers, but his life is not in danger.

Suspended prison sentence

The gun owner was taken into custody.

According to the newspaper

, he was then tried according to the procedure of appearance on prior recognition of guilt (CRPC).

He was sentenced to a four-month suspended prison sentence and banned from possessing a weapon for five years.
