Gasoline prices in the United States continue to break records

Recent data from the US Energy Information Administration revealed that the price of a gallon of gasoline is $4.69, which is equivalent to $1.24 per liter.

This is the highest value of gasoline prices ever recorded during the observation period.

According to "ABC News", after Washington refused to buy Russian energy and the price hike that occurred after that, a wave of gasoline theft was observed across the country.

Thefts were reported in at least 10 states.

According to the GlobalPetrolPrices website, Russia ranks 11th in the list of countries with the cheapest gasoline prices in the world, while the United States ranks 83rd in this ranking.

"The US administration expects gasoline prices to continue to rise," White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki said.

US President Joe Biden blamed his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, for the rise in oil prices in the United States.
