Shortly after lunchtime on Thursday, an alarm came about a fire at Husqvarna AB.
Police, ambulance and rescue forces from Huskvarna and Jönköping were called to the industrial building on Drottninggatan in Huskvarna.
Breath harmful smoke
A battery had burned and caused harmful smoke to spread.
Around 50 people were allowed to evacuate and some of them are said to have inhaled smoke.
Two people are said to be affected but the injuries are unknown.
According to the police, they were awake and talkative.
- I have no information that anyone has been loaded on an ambulance, says the rescue service's management operator.
The smoke that remains in the premises is now ventilated with fans.
