For a few more weeks, Alberto Núñez Feijóo will continue to be president of the PP of the Xunta.

Even after accessing, on April 2, the national presidency of the PP.

This institutional position gives him the opportunity to oppose Pedro Sánchez not only from the proposals, but also by approving constant and sound measures.

For this reason, and every time the Galician baron complains that the central Executive takes a long time to take action, he has decided to approve "in 24 hours" a relief to the electricity bill of the most needy families.

In this sense, the Xunta de Galicia has consigned this Thursday an economic package with three express measures to alleviate the effects of the rise in energy costs, the rise in cereal prices or the transport strike.

For example, the advance payment of 200 million euros from the CAP to farmers and ranchers.

How?

With endorsements from the Xunta.

In addition, "a zero rate for unloading fish and using pontoons for the entire fishing industry" has also been approved.

But above all, Feijóo has gone ahead of the National Executive with the approval of "an additional bonus of 100 euros to 66,000 Galician families so that this month they can improve their payment position for electricity and heating", as he himself has detailed in an act of his campaign in Oviedo.

It is, according to sources from the Xunta, a "complement" for the thermal social bond, which is a direct entry into the account of the beneficiaries.

"For example, a family that would correspond to 195 euros, in Galicia 295 will be paid," they explain.

It is a linear aid based on income, so that families "do not have to attend any call or do any paperwork", but "will receive the income directly in their account", they explain in the regional executive.

The Government is preparing similar aid to alleviate the sharp increase in electricity bills according to family income, but it will not approve its measures until March 29.

This delay is what Feijóo's PP criticizes, because "the Spanish cannot make ends meet", in his opinion, because Sánchez "hides behind the EU due to his incompetence" and "avoids his responsibilities until the problems others solve them".

For this reason, he has insisted that his plan is the right one: "Inject each family with 100 euros so that they can pay for heating and electricity" this month.

Likewise, Feijóo has urged the Government to speak with the carriers, which it is urgent to stop so as not to "collapse" sectors.

"We ask the central government, since road transport is the exclusive responsibility of the central government, to have contact with these platforms or organizations and we also ask these organizations to be weighted in their actions," he assured.

.

We understand your situation, but we cannot share some of the picket decisions that are making it impossible for the farms to survive, the livestock to survive, the withdrawal of milk, the supply of fish markets, it is having a huge impact on producers, who, in addition to having difficulties making ends meet, now find that they cannot sell their products.

In a press conference in Lugo, Feijóo has referred to the statements of the Andalusian Minister of Health, Jesús Aguirre, about the concept of domestic violence, used by Vox to deny gender violence.

"Sexist violence and intra-family violence are two types of violence that exist", said the future leader of the PP, "but intra-family violence cannot hide sexist violence, because sexist violence clearly exists".

"Anyway, I don't know who wants to make a mess of this, but I assure you that we have enough problems not to have more problems than necessary", he has complained.

In Oviedo, Feijóo has also complained about the position of United We Can regarding the invasion of Ukraine.

"There can be no parties from the Government that weaken the international position of the Government and there can be no parties in the Government that do not believe in NATO when Europe is at the gates of a war. "Not even a vice president who launches a political platform to weaken the Government using the Government", has also complained, referring to Yolanda Díaz.

In the same act, the president of the PP of Asturias, Teresa Mallada, has called to give "certainty" and "security" to the transporters and to the field.

"We have managed to transform a crisis into illusion and come out much more united and stronger than we were," she added.

"Anyone is good for easy things, and in difficult moments is where the stature of our politicians is seen."
