"Federal Human Resources" sets Ramadan working hours for government agencies

The Federal Authority for Governmental Human Resources issued a special circular regarding setting the official working hours for employees of ministries and federal entities during the blessed month of Ramadan, based on the decision of the Council of Ministers regarding the executive regulations of the Human Resources Law in the federal government, with regard to setting the official working hours in the blessed month of Ramadan.

The circular stated that the official working hours of ministries and federal entities during the holy month of Ramadan start from nine in the morning and end at two thirty in the afternoon, from Monday to Thursday, and on Friday, the working hours are from nine in the morning until 12 noon, with the exception of those who The nature of their work requires otherwise.

The authority confirmed that ministries and federal entities may continue to apply the flexible work regulations approved by them, during the blessed month of Ramadan, according to the rules contained in them, and within the limits of the approved number of working hours per day, as well as granting flexibility to their employees to work remotely on Friday, according to approved controls. Provided that the percentage of employees working from the workplace in each entity shall not be less than 40% of the total employees.
