China News Service, March 15 (Reuters) - The U.S. consulate in the border city of Nuevo Laredo was shot and temporarily closed, Mexican authorities said on March 14 local time.

  The consulate asked employees to stay indoors and instructed U.S. citizens to do the same or avoid the area.

  Police then arrested a gang member named Trevino, the most wanted man on the U.S. Border Patrol.

At least one person was killed in a shootout during the arrest, local officials said.
