Kim Han-gil, a former president of the New Politics Alliance for Democracy, who served as the new era preparation chair during the presidential election, was appointed as the transition chairperson of the National Unification Committee, and Kim Byung-jun, who served as the permanent election chairperson of the permanent election, was appointed as the special chairperson for the balanced regional development.



Among the 24 transition committee members, the members of the Planning and Coordination Subcommittee who will oversee the transition committee were announced first.
