The alarm came just before eight o'clock on Tuesday night.
It is said to be a major emission of sulfuric acid, but the extent is still unknown.
According to the rescue service, the acid has leaked from or near a cistern.
Andreas Brändström, duty officer at RiS (Rescue in Cooperation), reports that the circumstances surrounding the spill are unclear, but that there is currently no information on personal injuries.
