A 49-year-old man, suspected of having fired shots in a street in Bayonne (Pyrénées Atlantiques) and injured a young 18-year-old woman, on the night of Saturday to Sunday, was indicted and placed in detention provisional, reported our colleagues from

on Monday.

While individuals were fighting in a downtown street outside the bars, the suspect wanted to end the fight.

He allegedly pulled out a gun and fired shots.

Unfortunately, a young woman was shot in the chest.

The shooter flees

Quickly taken care of by the emergency services, the victim had been transported to the Bayonne hospital and his vital prognosis is not engaged.

As for the alleged shooter, he had fled.

But the Bayonne Night Brigade had quickly found him and placed him in custody.

A judicial investigation was opened and he was indicted and imprisoned for "carrying a prohibited weapon, attempted homicide and aggravated violence".
