A woman gives birth in an ambulance before arriving at the hospital ‎

Last Friday evening, the National Ambulance crews managed to rescue a woman in her thirties who gave birth in the Rumaila area in the Emirate of Ajman. She went into labor before the transfer to the hospital. The paramedics only helped to deliver her inside the ambulance for the operation to be completed successfully.

 The National Ambulance stated that at exactly 8:14 pm on Friday evening, the National Ambulance Operations Center received a report stating that there was a woman who was suddenly in labor in her home in the Rumaila area in the Emirate of Ajman.

Accordingly, two ambulances were sent to the place of the report, so that the ambulance teams arrived quickly to the site and proceeded with the approved emergency procedures, followed by the transfer to the hospital. However, the newborn did not wait, so the birth process took place inside the ambulance successfully and according to the protocol in force in cases of birth outside the hospital environment.

Then the mother and her healthy newborn were transferred to Sheikh Khalifa Ajman Hospital to receive the necessary medical care.

 The paramedics expressed their great happiness in providing assistance to the mother, contributing to the birth of the child in good health and bringing joy to the heart of the family.

 The National Ambulance urges everyone to quickly communicate with the National Ambulance Operations Center on the number 998, due to the importance of responding in a timely manner to such cases or other emergency health symptoms.
