A 16-month-old infant fell from the second floor of a building in Clermont l'Hérault, a town located about forty kilometers northwest of Montpellier.

The little girl took advantage of a moment of inattention from her mother on Monday morning to approach the window, before tipping over.

The Hérault firefighters who took care of her did not detect any serious injury.

However, she was airlifted to the pediatric department of Montpellier University Hospital for in-depth examinations.
