On the night of Monday to Tuesday, in Beuvry, Pas-de-Calais, a 14-year-old boy died after hitting a tree while driving a car.
Another 17-year-old passenger in the vehicle was injured, firefighters said.
“A car hit a tree at 2 a.m.,” according to the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service of Pas-de-Calais.
“Two young people aged 14 and 17 were incarcerated when the firefighters arrived”.
“The 14-year-old driver” was declared dead and the 17-year-old passenger, in “relative emergency”, was transported to the Beuvry hospital center, according to the same source.
