NATO defense ministers hold an extraordinary meeting to discuss the situation in Ukraine

The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced that the defense ministers of NATO countries will hold an extraordinary session in Brussels on Wednesday, to assess developments in Ukraine.

The ministry said in a statement that Defense Minister Hulusi Akar will travel to Brussels to attend an extraordinary session of NATO defense ministers, where an extraordinary meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 16, to assess developments related to the Russian military operation in Ukraine.

She added that Akar is expected to hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts on the sidelines of the meeting.
