Two weeks ago, a woman reported that she had been raped by several men in an apartment in Uppsala.
Two days later, a man in his 40s was wanted and the next day the police were able to arrest him.
Since last week, he has been in custody on suspicion of aggravated rape.
- The very approach and the fact that there were two perpetrators involved makes me judge it as gross.
Some parts have also been filmed, says prosecutor Sebastian Johansson.
The police are now looking for the suspected accomplice.
- We will hold more interrogations with people about the involved and secure technical evidence, says Sebastian Johansson, who does not want to answer if there are witnesses to the crime.
