This will be done with abolished energy tax for fuel for three months and a permanently reduced reduction obligation.

In addition, KD wants the agricultural and forestry industry to avoid the tax on diesel.

- This is a very serious and urgent situation and the responsibility for the situation in Sweden lies with the government.

It is a completely unsustainable situation for Swedish households, says KD's party leader Ebba Busch.

The energy tax is proposed to be abolished for the period April – June.

For the diesel price it means three kronor and for petrol 5 kronor.

In addition, KD wants the reduction obligation for diesel to be reduced to 6 percent.

The party has previously proposed a reduction to 14 percent.

The current reduction obligation is 30.5 percent.

In total, the proposals would lower the diesel price by SEK 9.

For agriculture and forestry, KD also wants to abolish the carbon dioxide tax on diesel for a year, which means a reduction of SEK 2.9 per liter.

The cost is estimated at SEK 6.5–7 billion in total.
