This means that Södertälje residents instead need to drive over the Mälar bridge or the Saltsjö bridge.

But the municipality does not want to propose any specific diversion route.

- No, we do not want to recommend any alternative roads because none of them are really good, says Anders Eklind, traffic engineer at Södertälje municipality.
