"The decision is based on an analysis by the Argentine Food and Drug Administration (ANMAT) through clinical evidence demonstrating the feasibility of its application," the Argentine Ministry of Health said in a statement.
The results of the evaluation showed that the Moderna vaccine from the United States was effective in the above-mentioned age groups and met the criteria for immunogenicity and safety.
Based on reference data on safety and efficacy, the authorities recommend the use of two doses of the Moderna vaccine in the primary vaccination system, administered at least 28 days apart.
