A direct air route between Morocco and Israel and the signing of the "Code Share" agreement between the two countries

Yesterday, Monday, the Israeli airline "El Al" signed a "Code Share" cooperation agreement with Royal Air Maroc, after the inauguration of a direct flight between Casablanca and Tel Aviv.

On Sunday, the first Royal Air Maroc plane landed in Tel Aviv from Casablanca, the first direct flight of the Moroccan carrier to Israel since the normalization of relations between the two countries in 2020. The flights will be at a rate of three per week, and it is expected to expand to five flights.

The agreement initially includes non-stop flights between Morocco and Israel operated by the two airlines. Currently, El Al operates three weekly flights from Tel Aviv to Marrakesh, and plans in the future to operate a direct flight from Tel Aviv to Casablanca.

The agreement will offer customers of both companies a variety of destinations and flights between Morocco and Israel. The agreement will also provide El Al customers with direct and convenient access to Moroccan Airlines in Casablanca, and an important point linking the Israelis to additional destinations for the Moroccan company in Africa.
