The government has extended the special travel advisory for all countries and regions by one more month.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, "From the 14th, we will re-extend the special travel advisory for all countries and regions for one month."

Special travel advisories are issued for short-term and urgent dangers, and are in accordance with the travel warning level 2 (restriction of travel) and above and below level 3 (recommendation of withdrawal).

In the case of countries in which travel warning levels 3 and 4 (travel ban) have been issued, there is no change due to the extension of the special travel advisory.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, "People who are planning to travel overseas during the special travel advisory period, please cancel or postpone the trip as much as possible unless it is an urgent business." Please pay special attention to personal safety."

The government first issued a special travel advisory on March 23, 2020 and has continued to extend it on a monthly basis, but this is likely to be the last re-extension.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that it will switch to a trade system that issues travel warnings for each country by comprehensively considering the global COVID-19 trend, changes in domestic quarantine policies, and entry restrictions by other countries within the next month.
