Many people have trouble sleeping and often have a difficult and less productive day after a bad night due to lack of sleep.

But there is a simple trick that will improve that problem.

If you assume and think that you sleep well, this will reflect positively on your daily life.

Sleep is essential and necessary for human health, as many complex activities take place at the level of the brain and body during the period of relaxation during sleep.

And if you get enough sleep, you'll wake up rested and energetic.

If you do not sleep enough, you often feel tired, irritable and lazy.

But there is a simple and amazing way to get satisfactory results.

And when you think that you did not get enough sleep, this causes you more fatigue, thinking about this makes the symptoms of fatigue become worse, and the strength of the mind controls the rest of the body.

And if you think you slept well, you already feel fit.

How does phantom sleep work?

phantom sleep

In a 2014 study published by the Journal of Experimental Psychology and reported by Deutsche Welle, researchers at the College of “Colorado” conducted a study to test the effects of “phantom sleep” on study participants, to see if it would reduce feeling tired.

The researchers said that adults usually spend about 20-25% of the sleep phase called "rapid eye movement" (REM) sleep, so people who sleep less during it perform less on learning tests, and people who spend more than 25% of their sleep. Those who slept in REM sleep performed better on learning tests.

Then, all of the participants were connected overnight to devices designed to collect data while they slept, the researchers told them. It wasn't true, the machines didn't accomplish these tasks at all.

In the morning, some participants were told that they got 16.2% and others got 28.7%, and the fact that these results were also not correct, then the participants underwent learning tests that measured auditory attention and processing speed, which are skills affected by sleep deprivation.

The results showed that participants who thought they achieved above-average sleep performed better on the tests than participants who believed they got below-average sleep.

Which confirms the power of phantom sleep.

But it is important to stress the importance of getting enough hours of sleep, and doing everything you can to ensure this and achieve relaxation.
