Since the budget bill will be passed naturally on the 23rd of next week under the provisions of the Constitution, it is expected that the ruling and opposition parties will hold discussions on the final decision this week.

At the House of Councilors Budget Committee, which is deliberating the budget for the new fiscal year = Reiwa 4, on the 14th, Prime Minister Kishida and related ministers will attend and the fourth intensive deliberation will be held in the current Diet session.



In this session, questions will be asked about Russia's military invasion of Ukraine, future responses to Russia, support measures for Ukraine, and Japan's defense policy, including the security of nuclear power plants.



There will also be controversy over the soaring prices of crude oil and raw materials and the need for economic measures in light of the prolonged impact of the new corona.



On the other hand, the new fiscal year's budget proposal will enter the fourth week after the actual deliberation by the House of Councilors Budget Committee begins, and on the 15th and 16th, commissioned examinations will be conducted by each committee for deliberation by field.



The budget bill is stipulated in the Constitution, and even if it is not voted by the House of Councilors, it will be passed naturally on the 23rd of next week, so it is expected that the ruling and opposition parties will hold discussions on how to vote this week.
