  The reporter learned from Guangzhou Customs on the 13th that Guangdong is adjacent to Hong Kong and Macao and is the main source of live pigs from the mainland for Hong Kong.

The selected batch of live pigs for Hong Kong are ternary hybrid commercial pigs with an average weight of 120 kilograms. They are supervised by Guangzhou Customs on the spot and shipped to Hong Kong.

  "We learned about the company's supply plan in advance and prepared a customs clearance plan. Customs officers came to the farm from the urban area at 5:00 this morning, and made preparations for the supervision of the installation in advance. While strengthening the source supervision, we ensured that the live pigs supplied to Hong Kong will be cleared through customs.   According to reports, there are 21 registered live pig farms for Hong Kong and Macao in Guangzhou Customs District, with an annual supply of 350,000 live pigs, accounting for more than 40% of the number of live pigs supplied to Hong Kong from the mainland.

In order to ensure the safe and stable supply of live pigs to the Hong Kong market, Guangzhou Customs has made every effort to ensure the inspection and quarantine and customs clearance, opened up "green channels", opened "specialized windows", provided "one-to-one" services for enterprises, and implemented 24-hour "instant" services. "Issue inspection" and efficient customs clearance.

  "In the past week, we have organized workers to work overtime and achieved an average daily supply of 840 live pigs to Hong Kong, an increase of 20% compared with the previous one.
