A woman who was enjoying skydiving in New Zealand was killed when she collided with a man who was falling with her.



According to local media such as the New Zealand Herald and 1 News on the 11th local time, a woman skydiving at Muriwai Beach in western Auckland on the 10th collided with a man in his 20s while skydiving with him in the course of a free fall and fell into the sea.



Rescuers and local surfers who witnessed the woman fall jumped into the sea to rescue the woman, expecting it to get dark soon as sunset progressed.



After locating the woman who fell into the sea, they cut off the parachute hanging from her body and performed CPR for 10 minutes, but the woman eventually died.



A man in his 20s who collided with the woman was injured and taken to a hospital near Auckland by emergency helicopter.
