Three of SVT's local Facebook pages were hacked

SVT Nyheter's local Facebook pages in Dalarna, Västerbotten and Norrbotten have been affected.

- Three local Facebook accounts have been affected and had their names changed, probably by an employee having their private Facebook account hacked, says Erica Lascelles, head of social media at SVT News.

SVT's security department is working on the problem and they are also in contact with Facebook to get help with recovering the error.

At the moment, you can not see that anything else has been affected other than that the titles on the pages themselves have been exchanged.

- We discovered these within a few minutes after it happened and acted immediately.

In collaboration with our security department, we will investigate exactly what happened, our social media security is incredibly important, and something we are constantly working on, says Erica Lascelles.
