Regarding the election cooperation between the Liberal Democratic Party and the Komeito Party for the summer Senate election, Secretary-general Motegi of the Liberal Democratic Party met with the prefectural leaders of five prefectures, including Hyogo, where the Komeito Party holds candidates, and understood the recommendation to the Komeito Party. He asked for it and expressed his intention to accept it from the prefectural government.

The Liberal Democratic Party and the Komeito Party agreed on the 11th that the secretary-generals would meet and make adjustments in the direction of recommending each other's candidates over the election cooperation for the summer House of Councilors election, which had been difficult to coordinate. ..

In response to this, Secretary General Motegi of the Liberal Democratic Party and Chairman of the Election Countermeasures Committee Endo met with the secretary generals of the five prefectural federations of Saitama, Kanagawa, Aichi, Hyogo, and Fukuoka, where the Komeito holds candidates on the afternoon of the 12th.

After explaining the history of the past, he asked for his understanding of the recommendation to the Komeito, saying that he wanted to make every effort to win the election.

In response, the prefectural federation expressed its willingness to accept it and sought sufficient support to prevent the LDP candidates from being rejected.

After the meeting, Takao Fujita, Secretary General of the Hyogo Prefectural Federation, said, "It is natural to think about the whole thing, so I have to cooperate and I will do my best, but I need to carefully explain and coordinate."

The Liberal Democratic Party wants to formally decide on recommendations for the Komeito in five constituencies next week as well.
