- It is difficult to know what it should look like, type, says Tyra Wistbo Nibell, high school student at Djäkneparksskolan in Norrköping.

- In general, they do not know what a signature is, especially not in the seventh and eighth, says Cecilia Hultberg Thorell, language teacher in Swedish and Spanish, who believes that it has to do with the fact that we are becoming increasingly digital in our everyday lives.

- In the last 30-40 years, writing skills have generally declined among the general public.

You do not write as much by hand in school, you do not drill as hard anymore and do not write as much then during your life, says Kristofer Axelsson Spjut, forensic scientist at NFC and specialist in handwriting comparison.

- I think it really started when they stopped teaching spelling in schools.

It no longer became as important to write nicely, quite simply.
