GRAND SLAM

Asked about his rough debate with Valérie Pécresse Thursday evening on TF1 and LCI, Eric Zemmour visiting the South West spun the sporting metaphor.

"It's a rugby country here. There are flamboyant matches like France-Scotland. These are the ones I prefer", he underlined then referring to the sluggish victory of the XV of France against the Wales, Friday evening, "sometimes there is a rough defensive game, when the opponent does not play the game, when the opponent destroys the game. The game is less good but in the end, it's France who wins".

Aiming at both the attacks of Ms. Pécresse and the RN candidate Marine Le Pen, he added: "The small teams put themselves 10 in defense and break their shins (...), it's an unfair game".

A "SHIT CANDIDATE" REBELS

Jean Lassalle will not be part, like Nathalie Arthaud (LO), Nicolas Dupont-Aignan (DLF) and Philippe Poutou (NPA), of the eight candidates who will participate Monday evening on TF1 in a great political evening, devoted to the war in Ukraine.

The candidate for "authentic France" denounces "a deep contempt in this decision, a class contempt".

"I thought that Bouygues (group that owns the channel, editor's note) had aged better than that (...) and I will never watch TF1 again in my life", he promised on Europe 1. The deputy for the Pyrenees -Atlantiques believes that it is considered "a shitty and useless candidate", "as if there could be real candidates in France and shitty candidates that we don't need".

CRUCIFIXION

The mayor of Moissac Romain Lopez, new defector from the RN at Camp Zemmour joked about his rallying to the Reconquest candidate.

"I am the age of Christ (33 years old, editor's note), I hope not to be crucified in a few minutes".

There is no doubt that his former RN comrades take him more for Judas.

WEIGHTLESS

Thomas Pesquet is definitely very popular with the candidates.

Yannick Jadot would like the astronaut "to join an ecological government and to be a great Minister of Research and the mobilization of all energies to treat the blue planet".

The environmental candidate answered the question from France 2 to find out which "public figure" he would like to see enter the government if he were elected president.

Jean-Luc Mélenchon had made the same choice in January.

Response then from @Thom_astro: "it's not planned, I have a job at the European Space Agency for the next few years (...), no politics".

GRAINS

The sovereignist candidate Nicolas Dupont-Aignan unveiled his presidential campaign poster on Saturday entitled "Choose freedom", where he poses in front of a village and its bell tower in the middle of a wheat field.

"From grain of wheat to silver grain, the poster will have tried to compose with these symbols", writes his team in a long press release explaining the meaning of each element of the poster.

She praises in particular "the frank, sincere, not posed smile, the disheveled hair, slightly detached tie" of the candidate, while specifying that it "will not escape anyone that this poster is a montage".
