The UAE pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai hosted the second session of the dialogue sessions that it launched under the title "Dialogue of Achieved Dreamers".

The second session was launched under the title: "Our Youth, Our Future: The Next Generation of "Achievable Dreamers", with the participation of innovators, pioneers and ambitious owners from all over the world, working to create solutions to meet the challenges the world is witnessing in various fields.

The session was moderated by Dr. Mariette Westerman, Vice President of NYU Abu Dhabi, and was attended by Noura Al Mansouri, marine biologist at NYU Abu Dhabi, Badr Ward, founder of the Lamsa educational application, and Hiam Al Balushi, installation, testing and quality assurance engineer at NYUAD. Emirates Aerospace Center, and Muhammad Nebuhan Shajahan, a computer engineering student at Khalifa University.

 The “Achievable Dreamers Dialogue” is a series of six panel discussions that host innovators, pioneers and ambitious people from all over the world, united by their quest to create solutions to meet the challenges the world is witnessing in various fields, including agricultural innovation, environment and climate change, food and water security, Empowerment of youth, creative economy, and future sustainable scientific innovations.



The session highlighted the experiences of “achievers dreamers” working in sectors related to youth, whose innovations and achievements contribute to providing support for the hopes and energies of the new generation, and paves the way for them to realize their aspirations for a better future for themselves and the world, as today’s youth are the makers of tomorrow and the new generation of “achiever dreamers.” Those who carry the values ​​and heritage of the UAE, and in appreciation of the efforts of all those who motivate young people to ambition and optimism, and make success a priority in life, through their initiatives and innovative ideas.

Dr. Mariette Westerman, during her mode of discussion, focused on the importance of the role of higher education in empowering young people and ensuring their success in the future. She said: "Education contributes to personal and societal development, and it is the duty of all of us, as individuals and institutions, to plant good seeds that benefit future generations."

Noura Al-Mansoori said that "the more we study, the more opportunities we have to learn... We are cooperating with personalities and destinations from all over the world, and it is important for us to take advantage of the available expertise to explore marine biology more effectively, and to adopt more competency in Exploring our marine ecosystems.

Hayam Al Balushi reviewed the insightful vision and the positive impact of the UAE's commitment to space exploration and motivating future generations to learn and engage in this sector. It brings with it new opportunities and challenges that we can learn from."

For his part, Badr Ward said: “The more a child knows his language and culture, the greater his ability to understand and appreciate other cultures and interact with them.” While Muhammad Nebuhan Shajahan gave advice to all students to face the challenge, considering that through ambition and challenging difficulties, dreams can be transformed into achievements. .
