It's a 13-second sequence that makes all their fans on the Old Continent salivate.

We hear the first notes of their hit "Can't you hear me knocking?"

("Can't you hear me knocking?") and we see their famous red hanging tongue logo placed in different places on a map.

Without the elected cities being precisely identifiable.

The Stones, according to established practice, should specify the contours of their European tour in the coming days.

In France, the cities of Paris and Lyon hold the rope.

Emmanuel Grégoire, first deputy to the mayor of Paris, has already tweeted an animation of the famous language of the Stones with the Eiffel Tower which is drawn on it.

“Lyon is still in the running, and (the Stones concert) should be held on July 19 at Groupama Stadium,” the regional daily Le Progrès recently wrote.

In Belgium, the title of another of their hit, "Start me up" ("Allume-moi"), accompanied by the logo-language, was projected on a telecommunications tower in Brussels.

And a full page with "Pleased to meet you" ("Nice to meet you", lyrics from "Sympathy for the devil") appears in the Belgian newspaper Le Soir, which also announces online a concert at the King Baudouin stadium on July 10.

The year 2022 is loaded with symbols for the Stones.

The group celebrates the 50th anniversary of one of their iconic albums, "Exile on main street" and especially their 60th anniversary.

The band's birth certificate is set by rock critics when they first performed together in July 1962 at the Marquee in London.

It will be a European tour without Charlie Watts, historic drummer who died in 2021, replaced by newcomer Steve Jordan for the American tour last year.
