The Swedish Migration Agency has asked the county administrative boards to send out questionnaires on how many housing places the municipalities in the country can offer.
Linköping is the municipality that can offer the most housing places to refugees in Östergötland and Kinda municipality is the one with the smallest number of housing places.
- I think it shows a good readiness to come up with an estimate of the number of housing places at such short notice, says Andreas Lundberg.
Of Östergötland's thirteen municipalities, only Motala has not yet responded to the county administrative board's survey.
That the municipalities within a dune could answer an estimate of how many places they had indicates good preparation according to Andreas Lundberg.
- They were on the ball in this question and understood that it could be requested.
It did not come as a bolt from the blue to them.
