In Lyon, a scooter driver killed in a collision with a bicycle

An accident that occurred this Friday morning in Lyon claimed the life of a scooter driver.

For undetermined reasons, the man in his sixties collided with a cyclist, who is currently in very serious condition.

The accident occurred around 8:30 a.m. on the Maréchal Joffre docks.

The driver, who was wearing a helmet, would have hit a metal pole, reveals the

site .

He died quickly of his injuries, even before the intervention of the emergency services.

The cyclist, whose vital prognosis is engaged, was rushed to hospital.
