The constitution of the Presidential Transition Committee including a separate task force for emergency response to COVID-19 and reform of the Blue House has been confirmed.

Yoon Seok-yeol's Presidential Transition Committee consists of 7 divisions.

Planning and Coordination Division Diplomatic Security, Political Affairs and Judicial Administration, Economics 1st and 2nd Economics Division, Science and Technology Education Division, Social Welfare and Culture Division.

Separately, it was decided to establish a special committee for national integration with two TFs, the Corona 19 emergency response TF directly under the elected president and the Blue House reform TF.

As President-elect Yoon has pledged to provide 50 trillion won to self-employed people and small business owners up to 10 million won each, and to fully review the current quarantine policy, how will the Corona 19 Emergency Response TF revise the policy and how will it be financed for loss compensation? Looks like we'll be discussing what to do next.

In addition, the Blue House Reform TF prepares action plans to move the Blue House function to the Gwanghwamun Government Complex in Seoul.

The transition committee is composed of one chairperson, one vice chairperson, and 24 transition committee members. Regarding the direction of the appointment, a key official from Yoon's side said, "Elect Yoon should not be burdened with surprise greetings, but select professional people who can do the job well. I was instructed to do it,” he explained.

As the office of the president-elect and the office of the transition committee have been confirmed as the Financial Supervisory Service Training Center and Financial Training Institute, respectively, in Jongno-gu, Seoul, President-elect Yoon is scheduled to go to work from next week.
