  According to reports, as of the end of February this year, the grid-connected electrochemical energy storage capacity of Qinghai Power Grid was 363,000 kW/498,000 kWh, of which 2 were participating in shared energy storage, with a total capacity of 82,000 kW/164,000 kWh. A total of 366 new energy power generation companies participated in shared energy storage transactions, with a total of 3,533 transactions, with a total charging capacity of 99.03 million kWh and a total discharge capacity of 81.34 million kWh. Energy storage plays an important role in peak shaving and valley filling of the power grid. When there is excess new energy generation, the excess electricity is stored and released when electricity is in short supply.

  At present, the main scenarios of energy storage applications in China are the power supply side, the load side and the grid side. However, the three application scenarios are generally independent, decentralized, and low in utilization.
