They were three aged 21 and 22, the last one was 33 years old.
They were all trained as pruners at the Lycée du Gros-Chêne, in Pontivy (Morbihan).
On February 10, their lives came to a halt when the car in which they were traveling left the road to finish its race in the Nantes-Brest canal.

According to the magistrate, the four men had high blood alcohol levels, between 0.90 and 2 grams of alcohol per liter of blood.
The accident is said to have occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Thursday February 10 on the way to a party.
The bodies were not recovered until the following morning.
Only two wheels of the car were sticking out of the water when help arrived.
On the spot, the investigators found no trace of braking.
The investigation is continuing to determine how the vehicle was able to leave the road.
Last night it was very cold, but the road was not icy.
