A man in his 20s has been taken to hospital by ambulance since he was stabbed in the Hjällbo district in Gothenburg.
The police received several alarms about the incident, which is said to have taken place outdoors in an apartment building area around 10.30 pm on Wednesday.
- It is not life-threatening, he has been cut in the face and has a bump in the back of his head, says Magnus Schildt, duty officer at the police region West.
Man in his 20s arrested
Barely 50 minutes after the alarm came, the police were able to arrest another man in his 20s who was in the immediate area.
He is now suspected of attempted murder.
It is still unclear what relationship the plaintiff and the perpetrator have to each other.
- We do not think it is a robbery, but it is something else that has caused it all.
But more interrogations will be conducted with the plaintiff and the suspect will also be heard.
The crime scene is cordoned off for technical investigation and the police hope to be able to secure any evidence.
