French justice confirmed this Thursday the accusation of actor Gérard Depardieu for "rape" and "sexual assault" on actress

"The investigation chamber [of the court of appeal] considers that there are, at this stage, serious or concordant indications that justify that Gérard Depardieu continue to be investigated," reads a statement from the public ministry.
The Paris Court of Appeal has ruled after the French actor's request to annul his accusation for "rape" and "sexual assault" on the aforementioned actress for alleged events dating back to August 2018.
