Because the elderly on both sides could not help with the children, Ling Cong quit his job when the baby was 8 months old and took care of the children full-time.

But every day is still very busy, so I found a housework aunt.

"I wanted to find a live-in aunt, but the monthly salary of 6,000 yuan is a lot of expenses for us. Although I am only responsible for the children's diet and early education, I am still very tired." Ling Cong told China Youth Daily A reporter from China Youth Daily said that when the child is older, she will adjust her state, return to the workplace, and continue to struggle for her ideals.

Ling Cong has a few friends who have also given up the workplace to become a full-time mother, many of whom are highly educated such as PhDs and masters.

"There is a laboratory doctor in a public hospital in our community who quit his job after giving birth to a baby. I don't worry about handing the baby over to someone else."

In this survey, many netizens actively left comments in the comment area.

Not only stay-at-home moms, but stay-at-home dads as well.

A nursing dad said that no one helped to take care of the children, and that his wife was a public official and could not leave the job, so he just quit his job in a private company and took care of the children full-time at home.

The financial pressure on the family has suddenly increased, and the burden on the wife to earn money to support the family is also very heavy. The top priority is to popularize the universal childcare service as soon as possible.

A mother who was born in 1981 left a message with emotion, that there are many problems to face when giving birth to a baby.

The first is that someone has to take the child after giving birth, and the second is that it may not be able to take it well.

Women also face many obstacles when they return to the workplace after giving birth. "I also want to have another child, but the conditions do not allow it. I have concerns about housing loans, supporting the elderly, and children's education."

Ling Cong observed that financial pressure, no one to take care of children, and parenting differences with the elderly are the difficulties faced by many young parents in raising children.

"It is difficult to reach an agreement with the elderly on the concept of parenting. For example, mothers do not give their children too much complementary food, because they are afraid of food accumulation. The elderly are worried that the children will not be full and secretly feed them. No one can convince anyone." She said that if there is a fee Low-level professional inclusive childcare services will be the first choice of many young parents.

Ling Cong and his wife have visited three or four local childcare centers and found that they mainly serve children over 1 year old, and one staff member takes care of three children at the same time.

"The child is young, can't take care of himself, and can't express his needs accurately. I'm very worried that I will not take good care of it, and it will not be conducive to the physical and mental development of the child for a long time. Although the fee level is based on the age of the month, the overall level is relatively high. Auntie is almost done." Ling Cong was not satisfied with the childcare services at this stage, and she admitted that she would rather work harder to take care of the child than send it to a childcare service agency.

The baby of Guo Yuning, a new mother in Beijing, is 9 months old.

She has joined seven or eight mother and baby groups.

"Who will take care of the children is a topic that is often discussed in the group. When it comes to childcare institutions, what everyone cares most about is the professionalism of the staff, whether they can do their best to take care of the children. The children spend nearly 10 hours a day. Institutions, parents are very worried about safety issues.”

Regarding the safety issues that many families are concerned about, Huang Kuangshi, an associate researcher of the China Population and Development Research Center, suggested that smart technologies such as the Internet and big data should be fully utilized, so that parents can understand their children's situation anytime, anywhere.

What do you pay attention to when it comes to inclusive childcare services?

The survey shows that the professionalism and responsibility of practitioners are the most concerned, 80% of the respondents choose this, followed by the price within the acceptable range (74%) and the convenience of the service point (72%) .

Others include: site safety (70%), richness of childcare content (56%).

Huang Kuangshi said that there are three main problems facing the development of childcare services in my country at present.

First, the demand for childcare services has not been effectively developed and guided.

"Affected by traditional concepts, people still tend to leave it to their families, and are reluctant to send infants under the age of 3 to institutions." Second, the supply of high-quality childcare services is currently insufficient.

On the whole, the development of service quality, safety, convenience, and childcare talents is not enough.

Third, the fees are relatively high.

Especially in large and medium-sized cities, due to the relatively high land rent prices and facility requirements, the operating costs of childcare institutions are very high, which further leads to high charging levels.

"This is also the main reason why we want to develop inclusive childcare services."

"Our country has just begun to popularize childcare services, and there is still a long way to go." Ling Cong hopes that childcare teachers can have higher professional skills and teaching ability.

"In addition to the children's food and clothing, the parent should let the children have fun and develop good habits. These are all things that are very important to the growth of the children. I believe that proper parenting before the age of 3 will be the wealth of the children's life. and confidence."

"Compared with nursing at home, the nursery service organization has a large space, sports equipment, early education classes, etc., and is very rich. If the country vigorously develops inclusive nursery services, the fee level will be greatly reduced, and the staff will be professional and patient, I believe More and more families will choose childcare services." Ling Cong said.

"There are many families around me who have no one to help take care of their children. Some families have also made it clear that they do not consider having children." Guo Yuning believes that inclusive childcare services can greatly solve the childcare problems of young parents.

Huang Kuangshi said that the development of inclusive childcare services is of great significance to increasing fertility, promoting family harmony, and maternal balance.

"We have done relevant research, and under the same circumstances, the fertility rate with inclusive childcare services is higher than that without. Therefore, the development of inclusive childcare services can indeed improve the fertility level to a certain extent."

According to the survey, 70% of the respondents believe that the development of inclusive childcare services can improve the willingness of young people to have children, and 16% of them believe that it will be improved to a large extent.

Among the respondents to this survey, 41% were male and 59% were female.
