Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory congratulatory message to Yun Seok-yeol on the election, TASS News Agency reported, citing the Kremlin.
In the congratulatory message, Putin said, "Congratulations on your election as president," and "I look forward to the development of bilateral relations for the welfare of the people of both countries and for security and stability on the Korean Peninsula and in Asia," Tass News reported.
