Warned by witnesses, the emergency services quickly arrive on the spot but can only note the death of the young man, mortally wounded by a firearm, reports the prosecutor of Le Mans, Delphine Dewaily.
He was 27 years old.
The shooter(s) fled.
“An investigation of the murder chief was entrusted jointly to the territorial management of the judicial police of Angers, which was transported to the site assisted by the regional technical police service and to the police station of Le Mans”, specifies the prosecutor.
An autopsy will be performed on the victim's body.
“The investigation is continuing to identify the author and to establish the exact circumstances of the facts”, indicates Delphine Dewaily.
