In the conflict between ABF and Botkyrka municipality, word for word and tone is high.

In a report released on Wednesday, the leisure centers were singled out as a haven for criminals.

- I myself would never want my children to stay here, says the chairman of the municipal board Ebba Östlin (S), when SVT meets her the day after the report was published.

Among other things, eleven people employed at ABF who worked at the leisure centers have criminal convictions.

Something the municipal council is taking seriously.

ABF, on the other hand, believes that they did not know about these individuals' criminal records and that it is the municipality's responsibility.

Opposition: S should have been addressed earlier

The moderates in Botkyrka believe that the governing coalition should have acted much earlier and that the responsibility for the incident rests with the majority.

- ABF has created places that are safe for criminals but unsafe for children, incredibly reckless.

Chairman Robert Aslan (S) has failed miserably to ensure safe leisure centers for the children in Botkyrka, says Stina Lundgren (M).
